i have heard bad things about wiesco pistons. plus they are a little oversized. you need to bore out the cyllinder wall.

Wiseco's- we had some trouble early on because the Toyota 1ZZ bores vary a bit (!?!) and we were producing stock replacement pistons that required no overbore- this caused a cold rattle in the looser engines. We no longer offer those stock sized pistons, we only offer a 0.5mm overbore now, which works great every time. No noise.

And the above is our new big bore kit- the pistons are intentionally very oversized to match the big 82mm sleeves. They also run quiet, but punch up the power output.

Weisco pistons are only bad if you have super high HP engine, peps I know with high HP cars like MR2 3SGTE with high HP mod (450+HP) said its crap. They actually went through a brand spanking pistons on within the year, but after switching to JE they never had that problem. However thats with high boost high HP, since our car will never see that it should be fine.

The only problem is you would have to take out your block yourself or pay someone to do it and send it to a machine shop. And if you know how to install, you could installt he pistons, rods, new bearing in yourself or pay someone. lOl. I would have to say it would cost around 1000. that ballpark. That machine work plus install and taking your motor apart.
