suspension problem

I dont know if this goes here...but.. Since it has been cold here by suspensiopn especially in the front when I go over bumps makes like a clunking noise. I never heard it before the winter started. Is it because of the cold weather or is my suspension going? It is a 2000 with 36500 on it. I planning on getting a whole coilover system either trd or tein ss. Should that sound go away if I do something liek that?

Check to see if the top nuts and the the two large bolts on the bottom of the struts are tight. Do you have springs, or have you ever had your struts removed before?

My guess is that you have a swaybar link that is not completely tightened (probably the front, but could be the rear). Check both the links. They use a 14mm wrench and a 5mm allen wrench if the bolt wants to spin. - AB
