Suspension vs. Speed
Hey all,
Ive asked many people around me whether I should improve my suspension first or rather increase speed. Alot of them have said suspension, but I think they just say that so I dont buy a turbo and beat their slightly faster cars. I currently have the full appearance set up, Im not even concerned about that stuff anymore. I have atleast a grand saved up and Im considering saving even more for the turbo, or rather suspending that for a while until I hear better numbers , prices etc. Coilovers and a strut bar are what Im planning to get so , what do ya'll think considering Im a daily driver on his way to college....
Thanks guys

What you may not realize is that tuning the suspension will allow you to go faster (as an example, adding a stiffer rear sway bar will allow you to have a greater corner exit speed). Don't forget, power is nothing without control, and the suspension is the control. I have done more suspension work on my car (sway bar, strut bars, springs) than power mods (cai.... thats about it), and doing the suspension mods made the car much more fun to drive on a daily basis.
It's your car, but it's best to have a nice mix of both.
