Stock Exhaust Rust problems?

The first pic was taken under the hood and it appears to be connected to the engine and runs all the way down to the rear muffler. Can anyone identify what this is called?(engine exhaust?) Does anyone know specifically what it is? And also does it appear that I have a rust problem?

The second picture is simply my stock exhaust and I am trying to determine if I have a rust problem and if these parts will need to be replaced soon.

thanks

First pic is part of the exhaust. It runs from the header to right before the muffler in the second pic. It contains the cat and a resonator. Mine looks like that, too. Don't worry, it's pretty thick metal, but won't be expensive to replace. Your muffler will most likely rust through first.
