Cheap New PFC's with free Hand Controllers

Autospeed are having a special atm. New Apex'i Power FC & Hand Controller, delivered to your door for $1,559.00. Thats an awsome deal. Wish I paid that much when I got mine.

For the guys that thought it was a bit expensive before, maybe should reconsider.

I got this quote from Greenline a little while back from Greenline...

Thanks for your enquiry. Pricing information as requested:
APEXi Power FC ZZT231: 79,233 yen
TRIAL Header ZZT231: 102,795 yen
Shipping: 19,600 yen
TOTAL: 201,628 yen AU$2474

equates to about $1000AUD shipped maybe cheaper if we buy a few???

M SPEC- You have a PFC, do you think it's worth having the hand controller?

Hehe, I've been up to my old tricks again.... I called Nathan at autospeed and talked to him about a possible group buy and he's right into that... So how does $1430 sound!

mmmm
sounds mighty tempting

2000zr: unless you have access to powerexcel or the fc-datalogit interface then you need the hand controller to tune the ecu

Hey 2000ZR

how about getting just the powerFC from Greenline, since it'll be much smaller package compare to the header maybe shipping will be cheaper?

Well, remember we may still have to pay tax on the import (Greenline is in Japan) plus it doesn't come with the hand controller. I think $1430 is a damn good price! To be honest though I don't think I'd like to be the one organising another group buy. So far I have run the AEM and TRD exhaust group buys and it's been alot of work on my part and I have to chase up people all the time *hint hint Sharmz*.

RRP when I bought miine a few years ago it was, $2200 for the PFC and $770 for the Hand Controller ( inclusive of GST). I paid pretty much double compared to the special that is on at Autospeed.

If the tuner you decide to use already has a Hand Controller handy. Might not be as worthwile to get this deal if on a really tight budget.

But if you got the funds to spare and a bit of a gadget person. You'd be crazy not to buy. Think of it this way, you get a Tach, Volt, Water Temp display and Knock indicator etc as built in features of the Hand controller compared to buying sep. gauges ($$$).

I can't remember off hand how long the cable is exactly, but from memory with the bonnet up and sitting in the car you can hold the Commander in your hand with some cable slack to spare.

You can buy the extension cable ( which I got as well). Pretty sure Autospeed website has a listing for it on their page.
