adding a strut bar will NOT adversely affect ride quality. Neither will sway bars. The only things that should put a jolt in your rear end will be a change in tire profile, or stiffer springs and shocks.

well i cant really tell you ... umm. it went on at the same time as the teins and the hotchkis front sway bar...

it made the car really tight... hehe.. or it couldve been the rest of the suspension upgrades ( )

well when you put the rear on you'll be fine... i was running on tight settings, the cusco, and the sway bar only up front... not to mention that i just rotated my front tires to the back... which means the back gets much less traction... it was like drift mania going around those turns.

now its really neutral.. but i tweaked it that way.

I thought Hotchkis only sold their bars in pairs! They wouldn't let me buy only the rear when I got mine earlier this year.

Why not just order the set from one source, and let them work together.

yeah i could only get my hands on the entire set.. but couldnt install the rear when i took it to the shop because of an incorrect part... i still put it in 4 days later but the car was understeering like crazy until i put that rear bar in on the high speed turn ins.

Well I have the Hotchkis Comp Bars and springs, front and rear lower tie bars and front and rear strut bars. The car oversteers alot. The car has never understeered EVER. I have not done alignment because I'm putting my new clutch in this weekend. The ride became VERY stiff after yhe new sway bars were installed. I now see why Hotchkis recommends race tires for the Comp Bars. If you push the car as hard as you did with the stock sways you will get some mad oversteer. I will learn how to drive the car with the new set-up and look into some better tires. I will not be able to push the car as hard as could before. The will be able to drift nicely when I learn the technique.

Dan
