ECU question

How many manufacturer's of ECU's are there for the Celica GT-S? The site lists one by C-One, but I've been unable to find it on the market anywhere. I don't want to pay $900 for the APex'i Power FC, what are my alternatives?

C-one's is the PowerFC. Soon will have the Hydra EMS but that's even more money. Unichip is also working on something I believe.

purple--off topic but you should do a little more research before you buy all of your "mods soon to come" listed on your page. Some don't exsist for the Celica and some don't work on the celica. Just so you know.....

You're planning a turbo install without a proper ECU?

He does not have to, C2Power comes with Emanage which works with 03.

Mods soon to come

My mods soon to come are as follows, and I HAVE researched them extensively...

Zex Dry Nitrous kit (universal kit, will fit any car)
Greddy Evo2 Exhaust (titanmotorsports.com)
Injen Racing Division CAI (andysautosport.com, titanmotorsports.com)
DC Sport 4-2-1 headers (andysautosport.com, titanautosport.com)
MSD DIS-2 Ignition (will work with dual coil OR individual coil ignition systems)
Front and rear (tower) strut bars (any automotive performace site)
SS unorthodox racing pulley kit (unorthodoxracing.com)
Fidanza lightweight (7.5lb) billet flywheel (fidanza.com)
Centerforce dual-friction clutch (centerforce.com)
A'pexi S-AFC (apexi.com, titanmotorsports.com, andysautosport.com)

If you can tell me which one of those parts aren't made or won't work with a 2000 celi gt-s, go ahead. The only one I'm not 100% will is the DIS-2 ignition, but I'm still PRETTY sure it will.

Since the eyelids and euro tails are nonperformance, kinda pointless to discuss them.

As for the chip issue...I was looking towards the XS Engineering turbo, which comes with the powerFC. In the meantime, I plan on sending my chip to www.jetchip.com, which I have heard many good things about. They will upgrade your stock ECU for you, seems like a good deal. It'll at least hold me over until I can get the turbo.
