Boost just around the corner

Well I was expecting to have my turbo complete by now but there were a few issues. The block is done and sleeved. The rod bearings I got from Toyota were the wrong size. I now have the correct size and the engine is being reassembled with the crower rods and wiseco pistons. I have also swapped out the little T3 super 60 in exchange for a Precision T3/T04e sc61. I have a custom fuel system by CFT. The Apex'i PFC and Walbro fuel pump. All that I need to change now is from my 525cc injectors to 880's. I should have dynos in about a week. Soon after I will be ordering a C2Power gearset. Woohoo getting soooooo close.

Yeah, I didn't want to post until I had made some progress. I will take some pics tomorrow. The shop has a Mustng dyno so they say to calculate an additional 15% or so loss. I will also do a dynojet dyno at Titan Motorsports to see the difference in dyno's.

I dropped off the new bearings today. I forgot my digitalcamera but the shop bought me a disposable camera so I took a few pics. They are gonna takes pics as they are building the motor. I so far have spent around $8,600 dollars. I still have to spend a few grand more on the tranny. That is not including the clutch I already put in and the custom exhaust getting done.

LOL, I just work and save money. I make a decent living at my job. I don't put mods on credit either. That will just make you pay more in the long run. I just save the cash and write a check.
