Taxes in MA

Anyone in MA know a good and reasonably priced place or CPA that you would recommend to do your taxes?

I have a real mess on my hands between working in 2 states, rolling over a 401k, and relocation reimbursment... I can't handle doing them myself this year I don't think....

Thanks for any suggestions!

I'm a certified financial planner who can do taxes. (have series 7) I'd do them for you, but by the time u gave everything to me i'd be on my trip to europe...

by the way...u working in two different states doesn't make it all too much harder at all.

Edit: I just read what you think is hard again, and it really isn't as bad as you think. Pick up a help booklet from the post office and you should be fine. I bet if you just went to the irs page and linked to taxact.com (send in ur tax return online for free) the step by step thing that they do will help you do it easily. Hey, it's free so it's worth a try to do it yourself first right?

I just don't understand why anyone under the age of like 30 who is single doesn't do their taxes themselves. I prob could do 95% of the northeast's tax returns in about 5-10 mins a piece. I mean, even my rents return only took me like 30 mins to do, and I ended up saving them $800 more than the CPA did last yr, plus they were making less and had less taxes taken out. I should write up a step by step thing to follow, but I'm too lazy, haha. If you have any questions, feel free to post them, and I will try and answer them to the best of my knowledge.

Again though, what I may think of easy may be confusing for you, so if you cant figure it out after workin on it for a few hrs for a day or two, then I'd bring it somewhere.

hahaha...can be easy yes for a single under 30 person.

but for for instance with me being self-employed, between all the deductions, state/fed/self employment tax etc. makes it something im not capable to do myself. for the few bucks it costs me for a CPA, and knowing he's ALWAYS there if i need something to do with my income, WELL worth it. specially for setting up quarterlys. i suck with taxes and crap.

corporate taxes and self employed taxes are fun! I agree though, if you're not familiar with the tax structure in your case, I would seek advice of a CPA, especially for things like quarterlys. I just think it's ridiculous what some charge. They charged my rents $400 last yr.....it took me 1/2 hr to do it and i got them more money back. I also looked at how their CPA did it the yr before and found out ways i could have saved them around $600 more. Most are just out to get the job done quick I guess.
