Production run is being made at present and I will be shipping in 2 weeks. The price is $375.00 with a core exchange and includes free shipping back to me of your stock piece.

Great results Brett !!!!
Did you test it on a flow bench (in cfm) before and after the upgrade?
IF yes what where the gains?
Can you post the dyno of the torque graph?

I had the great pleasure of spending the day at SRM in San Rafael, Ca. with Brett from Ragnorak Racing, and Beau from SRM. I am very impressed with everything.
My car was used for testing the new throttle body. We had great results from such a minor component. As you read in Brett's post we realized 4hp from just installing the TB. After a small amount of tuning, an additional 3hp was made. There are no losses in the entire rpm range. Also worth mentioning, a torque increase of @ 10ftlb at 3500rpm after tuning.
Needless to say, my car feels much stronger. Unfortunatly I sat in the rain in traffic the entire way home, and it's currently raining, so hitting high cam was not going to happen. Driveability in traffic is unaffected, If anything it's better.
Hopefully with Brett's help (after the release of future products) it will be easily possible for any Gt-s to reach the 200whp mark.
Thanks again Brett, it's very much appreciated.
Congrats on the TB

would it be possible for you to ship your unit, i install it on my car, and then give you my old tb. just so i could drive my car while the exchange was going to take place
and lastly is it hard to install
thanx

Hello guys,
Thanks for the kind words. We really are trying to get you guys some nice products that are long overdue for this car. The TB exchange program is once you receive my throttle body you simply remove your stock piece(takes 10-15 minutes) replace it with my throttle body and ship your stock one back to me. You will receive a UPS label with your new Ragnorak Racing throttle body. Simply place your old one in a box, securely wrapping it first of course, and use the label provided to get it back to me. You will have 10 business days to return the stock one back to me, otherwise I assume you want to keep it and will charge a core fee of $300. Better to ship your stock one back! Pictures are on my site at:
http://www.ragnorakracing.com/catalo...46/1889159.htm
Brett.

Well, I think it is worth mentioning 240max also here bud ...
Nevertheless, good job but I am also really interested in dyno figures and flowbench numbers (in cfm). Those would show a lot on your design.
Keep the good parts coming out for us!!

Manny sent me the email that started me on this path. That's why I thanked him. As for flow numbers I have them but I would rather not release them at this stage as some things have to stay proprietary for the time being. I will release those numbers at a later date. Trying to load up the dyno plots tonight.

We ran it today without a ported intake manifold. Next week we will run it again with our ported manifold, and matched gasket. Then our redesigned intake manifold after that!

No. The throttle body is $375.00. If you do not return your stock throttle body to me you will be charged another $300, for $675.00 total. The stock throttle body costs $800.00 from your Toyota dealer.

Now my questions are:
What kind of power will it give on a stock ecu?
My intake is smaller than the stock throttle body, will this kill the effect of the bigger throttle body?
What is expected to be next, header or cams?

We have not tested it on a stock ecu to see how it reacts. I would expect similar gains (4whp) without any tuning. Which intake do you have that is smaller than the stock throttle body?

K&N 57i-9000 SRI. Its only sold in Europe, and its for the gt, thats why its smaller, but I also have no bogging cuz it keeps the air velocity up.

Does it come with the IAC motor on the bottom of the throttle body or do we need to swap that too??

since im not planning on running a PFC anytime soon i would be interested in dyno gains with possibly just i/e and stock ECU of course.

Any special consideration for other countries celica owners? i mean, it will be very difficult and expensive for me to ship my TB to you.
Any future group buys on this? or are you going to do only one at a time?
Are you going to accept payment through paypal?
Thanks.

Yeah, keep in mind that's not peak torque numbers. That's at @ 3500rpm, which really makes the car feel a lot better. IMO that's where the car needs it most. Also keep in mind that was after tuning a little bit. Without tuning, it was pretty much the same as hp figures. . . @4 in the same rpm ranges, for torque and hp.

The butt dyno says yes!
RPMs seem to climb much quicker.
Seriously guys, jump on this. . . Brett has more tricks up his sleeve, and this is like testing the waters. So much more to come.
He proves there is hope for us NA 2zz lovers.

Not that I am interested for my car on performances w/o a tunable pfc but .. I would not assume this mod is an instant 3-4 whp with stock ecu unless dyno prooven .. The stock ecu adjusts itself a lot, so we never know how it will react exactly..
You should make the test if you have a chance, the ecu takes 2 minutes to swap so it is really easy test ..
I am also interested in the effect on A/F ratio of your mod ..

Just how modified is the original throttle body? I'm interested in buying it but I'm going to be PO'd if i send out over $300 and it winds up being something I could have easily done myself without special equipment/tools.
I don't mind paying for labor and of course everyone should make a profit on their investment, but I'd feel much better if it was something I couldn't easily do myself VS something that's a no-brainer.

From the looks of it you just need a lathe and a milling machine. With the trade in, I would spend the $300. Less of a hassle.

From what Brett told me, the TB is CNC machined. Also a Butterfly valve needed to be constructed for the larger bore.

Don't expect the same gains on a stock Celica. If the car has the same mods as Paul's then I would hope for the same gains, untuned as we got which was 4whp. I would not do the throttle body without already having at least an upgraded intake.
Brett.
