rod bearings

my budd has a 00 celi gt with 85xxx miles on it hes not the type to beat on his car but the rod bearings went bad all of the were showing some bad wear on them whe rteplaced them wil a set of monkey wrench race bearings the engine runs strong now no more noise but is this gonna happen again and what are some common reasons this happened

As long as the rods are still within spec there shouldnt be a prob.

depends. rod bearings don't fail by themselves normally- my guess is he probably has a bad oil consumption problem and has not been checking the oil regularly - tell him to keep a close eye on the oil level.

Yep. If all was within spec he probably was running low on oil and maybe hit lift, starving the rods.

He couldn't have hit lift in his GT but you are right he probobly he ran his car low on oil and starved his rods.
