At last...frau's Celica

Well my friends...after a lot of time enduring bad instalation and mechanics, and upgrading parts, I finally tested the GTS today at the dyno.
Mod list is in my sig, just in case...
Now to the thing you guys are interested in reading...
I accomplished 424whp at 20psi, and we had to stop right there because of an oil leak, probably coming from a seal on the turbo (I'll check this in the next few days). Because of the oil leak, we were unable to get to 450whp, which was my realistic goal, but I'll tell you this...the car/engine was feeling so calm, so steady, it was unreal...it was asking for more, for sure. So, Im kind of happy with the accomplishment, but really upset with the oil leak and stoping the tuning right there.

Did I mention that I'm DBW?
Did I mention that I have an "old technology blablabla turbo"?
Did I mention that I have the "crappy blablabla Emanage"?

Just for the record...the Emanage worked like a charm...
Sweet idle, great cruising readings, and perfect control under boost.

Car is far from done...I have to correct the oil leak and continue with the tuning, to complete the work with the current setup. Future plans are upgrading the turbo, probably to a GT30xx, and going standalone, but not yet.
It's kind of late right now, so I'll probably provide graphs and videos tomorrow.
Thanks for reading, folks...

PS: Thx to Black_TRD and Potter (2zz folks) for the help at the dyno...

EDIT: Videos and dyno graphs...

I envy you at this time. I'm in the process of building up a turbo kit for my car, but just not near as extreme as your setup. Nice build *thumbs up*.

whats the ars on the turbo. 60 trim .63? I say get a GT3076R and push over 500whp. if not, your 4000 block will go to waste. Are the crowers I beams or H beams? Compression on Pistons? Stroker Kit Eh? Bore? Stroke? Open Deck or Closed?

It's about the most amazing feeling in the world. I went for a ride in MWR celica when it was at 412whp. I can't wait to get a ride in it with the new motor. I have no doubt they will break 500whp very soon.

Im sure yesterday I was getting out of the dyno with at least 450, but sometimes little things slow you down to your goals, so I'll take care of the little things and keep going.
About the spots, lol, well, Im sure our friend Matt will take care of that, along with enthusiasts guys like Smaay and george.d, to name a few.
I hope you guys like the videos...

Insane...
Good work, especially using the Emanage. AFR's seem to be good.
Are you also using the Emanage for timing or still letting the stock ecu take care of that?

Awesome numbers! It's nice to see some of the same people on this forum from when I frequented! It's kind of wierd to see all these "new" screen names in the FI section. Anyways, I'm glad you kept at it and are getting it done! I would love to ride in a turbo Celica that was running good! I got tired of my project and parted it out before I was able to get all the bugs worked out and really test the car out. Anyways, good work!

no.. I'd imagine you'd wanna be around 11.5-11.8 boosted... N/A you can safely run a bit leaner.... the car is sick though!!

Congratulations Frau. Mr Frau accomplish his goals and withstand some minor and major problems due to bad mechanics and bad luck. But is awesome to see that he never quits. Failure tras failure he mantains his composture and try harder and harder. It seems that with every new problem, he gets pumped to achieve what he knows that he can do. Using "old technolgy" and against the advice and the negative critics of some people, he reach his goal, and in a gentle manner he let us know his accomplishments without be harsh with the ones who opposed his methods and his technology. Congratulations again Frau. It is clear that new technology is better, but "old technology" is not old or obsolete as some people try to prove. After fine tuning the time will come to newer technology (ball bearings turbo and pcf, etc.). The sky is the limit Frau. Go for it!!!!!

Uhm.. What N/A cars do you see running leaner than 11.5? Thats a good number for a boosted car, it's not rich either..
