Setting gain for AMP...whuts the stock preamp voltage??o

Anyone have this info....stock preamp voltage output...I have a Rockford Fosgate 1620 and attempting to set the gain settings..

You don't need to know that. To set the gain on the amp, turn the gain all the way down and turn the volume on the radio to about 3/4 full volume. Now turn the gain up on the amp until you start to hear some distortion. Back the gain off till the distortion is gone. Now your gain is set.

I like to set it at 80% of total volume....

but yeah just like he said...and if it's for your subs set the crossover at about 60-70 hz

Oh yeah, and the stock deck doesn't have pre-amp outputs so I don't really understand your question...

I have to admit, having one of those handheld oscilloscopes as part of your stereo install would be pretty cool. Just build it into your box or something. Expensive but cool

Actually...if u have a laptop..u can DL the programs online and use a MIC...Just my 2cents....but who the hell is gonna notice that the bass if off by a few hertz...unless ur a dog
