maybe you have a bad gasket or the connection between the header and cat is loose
was installing the header very complicated or is it just a matter of removing the old and bolting on the new one. i know that the PPE header you have to lower the crossmeber a bit.

^installing is very easy...if you have the right tools!
it took us about 1-2 hrs because we don't enough tools.
but other than that it's prettty easy

bout that exhaust leak sound, i've been driving my car pretty much everday after i installed the headers, and i can still hear that leak like sound. but i haven't really checked the headers while the engine is running.i'll check it today and inform you guys

Any update on this? This is the only damn non-JDM header that has given proven gains, even if it was on WR's own dyno.

I know a Lotus owner that will need to have at least some sort of after market header soon for a tuning session just in case PPE doesn't come out with their Lotus race header on time.

I've had my header on for about 3 months, and haven't had any leaks yet.

PPE won't come out with their race header for him until February or so, especially since he'll be needing the supercharger spec version.

For now, we'll settle with the WR shorty header, and install it sometime within the next month. It's the ONLY non-JDM header proven to give gains on the stock ECU, without tuning, and at a good price too. Regardless if it's another low-midrange header, it gave more consistant gains on the two WR dynos than the DC sports header, along with better testimonials, which is where it's really at.
