HELP ! how do I get these coil pack gasket's off the valve cover ????

I am going to re powdercoat my valve cover & I need to get these 4 brown gasket things out from underneath the valve cover (where coil pack's go). I'm pretty sure I had them out the first time ,but I did not remove them my self . So far I have tried lifting the tab's with a screw driver and prying them out . They would not come & I did not want to mess anything up so I let off . Can someone PLEASE tell me how to remove these ? I would imagine I will have to buy new one's once these are off . Thank's for your help guy's .

Looks like those tabs bend and secure the gasket in place

Yeah I tried bending them back & then taking a flat head & try to pop the gasket's out ,but it did not budge . I decided I better ask before I mess anything up . Do I need to just pry on them harder ????

Bend the tabs back and pry them out with a screwdriver. It takes a decent amount of force to do that.

leave them in, have the powdercoater do the cover. then replace them afterwards. if he coats the cover with them off, you will not be able to get the new ones in and they will not seal very well
