HELP ! how do I get these coil pack gasket's off the valve cover ????
I am going to re powdercoat my valve cover & I need to get these 4 brown gasket things out from underneath the valve cover (where coil pack's go). I'm pretty sure I had them out the first time ,but I did not remove them my self . So far I have tried lifting the tab's with a screw driver and prying them out . They would not come & I did not want to mess anything up so I let off . Can someone PLEASE tell me how to remove these ? I would imagine I will have to buy new one's once these are off . Thank's for your help guy's .
Yeah I tried bending them back & then taking a flat head & try to pop the gasket's out ,but it did not budge . I decided I better ask before I mess anything up . Do I need to just pry on them harder ????
ahh smaay , I already removed them . I bent the crap out of them ,but I got them out . I remember I had them removed the first time my cover was powdercoated . I bought new one's and they seemed to install ok when I did it the first time ? Anywase I think I am all good now . Thank's for the help everyone ...
