Keyless Remote Aux button

I have an aux button on my keyless remote and I have no idea what it is on there for does anyone know why its there?

For an auxilliary controlled function.... like trunk popper etc. I wired mine up for 10 seconds of Headlights on demand.

Mine is wired if you press it twice, it turns on Auto Start. Two more times, it turns off the engine.

Where's more info on this? I installed a factory system. Have this on my remote. Had no info on how to program it.

No clue on a TVIP system. Didn't think the TVIP systems had an AUX button? On an aftermarket system, it is only a matter of using the AUX output tied to the HL relay control & progrmming it for timed operation (usually something between 10-30 secs).

depends on what you program it too... it can be programmed to remote start, windows up and down, moon roof open/close, trunk pop, lights, just about anything electrical

wish my stock keyless entry remote had an aux button...i wouldn't mind replacing the panic button with something like that...

yea i have it wired and programed that if i hold AUX and unlock to put my windows down, aux + Lock to put them up and hold aux alone to pop the sunroof and hold it again to put the sunroof all the way back

take it to a garage that does alarm installs... audio shops prefered... or worse comes to worse, ask best buy to do it...

i have 791 as well... great alarm system...

worse comes to worse, have best buy do it?

kinda insulting since i work at best buy... live with both of our installers and had them doo all of my audio/alarm work.
