Well after about 14 hours of work, it is up and running great. I will be running the emanage for a while before I can tune my Hydra. Gotta save up more $$, just spent a crap load on this.

wow that pulley looks really close to that hose... i'd be worried about that...

also, looks like you're missing one of the bolts on the front part of your strut bar

Clearance is fine. LOL, I lost the bolt and while I was using the ziz wheel with the air compressor I ran out of air. It was to late to turn on the compressor again so I will fix that next Monday.

From the picture it looks like it's almost resting on the pulley. Good work.

i'd still be scared... engine vibration and all...

probably a dumb question, but are you the guinea-pig on this or has this been done many times over?

Beholder from 9thgencorolla.com was the first. As far as I know, I am the second.

My ES motor mount inserts help keep the engine from flexing.

make sure you move that hose, with bumps someday it will pintch against the pulley. You don't want to waste the engine for a 20$ hose...

It can't be changed. It has a good 3/4 of an inch at least of clearence. The angle you are viewing it from looks worse than it is. If it hits the pully, The worst that could happen is I loose my power steering.

That hose is not power steering. It is part of the air injection system and can be completely removed if it becomes necessary.

the manifold housing looks to have been swiped from a VW from first glance but I doubt that is the case.

he was talking about the pics posted by andriii, not by straightXRS. We can clearly tell that straightXRS has a greddy kit The manifold and setup is entirely different on the other..

I know, it was going on midnight when we cut it with a ziz wheel using an air compressor. The compressor ran out of air in the middle of cutting it. It is cut all the way now.

This was actually a European factory fit special edition - why they never bolted this on for the UK farewell Celica - the 'GT' (not your US GT!) is beyond me.

I don't think it was as powerful as the Greddy though - they claimed 215HP at the crank, I bet they don't suffer from disintegrating brackets though
