wtf is goin on
hey, im not sure of this falls into repair or not..
i have a squeaking noise every time i go over a bump, its really bothersome, and passengers are asking wtf is goin on.
what could be doin this, i have some coilovers on the car... and i do have a bit of negative camber, but its been happening ever since i put a sub in the trunk i believe.. (before the coilovers)
any intellegent idea on whats making this noise?
i appriciate it guys!

Are you still on stock endlinks? They don't like it if you lower the car alot. They'll actually keep doing their job, they just complain alot.
It may also help to regrease the sway bar bushings if you've gone to an aftermarket sway bar. I should probably do that too sometime...nah, it's not making any bothersome noises yet...

If you're on stock sway bars, I wouldn't worry about the bushings then. They're probably fine. Mine never needed more grease before I took them off. I think. I've become desensitized to noises that most people would consider annoying; as long as it's not broke, I don't care too much.
Depending on how heavy the subs are, they will effectively lower your car even more. That could've been the little bit that pushed things over the edge.
I'm not terribly familiar with what goes on with a busted endlink, I'm sure a search would turn up lots of info. That's where I would begin.

I think busted endlinks are supposed to make more like a knocking noise.
Check to see if its your hatch that's making the squeaking noise. Mine makes the noise sometimes when I go over a rough bump. It also squeaks when I close it.

Ahh, yes. Mine does this too, it's gotten worse as the car has gotten older. Either that, or it's the aftermarket sway bar begging for a bit of grease. I'm not sure and I don't care enough to try to find out or fix it...see what I mean?

There's a way to fix the hatch squeak but I forgot how. Which is why mine is still squeaking also

The first place i would check would be the bushings for the shock absorbers, if you put coil-overs on the car then those bushings SEEM to get more stress because you wont have the full travel of the suspension. If not then I agree with the hatch noise, mine does it too. To fix it I would suggest taking a look at how the Hatch fits to the car. If rubbing is occuring it is from the rubber bushings not making contact with the proper area on the hatch.
