Removing EVAP VSV and Charcoal Canister

To remove the EVAP VSV and Charcoal Canister. I know where it is located , however, do you have to remove the back seat. Ijacked up the car have looked under the car and can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?

is it attached to the gas tank or something? I have the back seat out of my car and the only thing I can access under it is the fuel pump

yup it's the sensor right on top of the gas tank

Remove the muffler and the heat shield above it. See EC-6 of the 2000 BGB.
