Hey, what was the score of that UVA/Va Tech football game? I forget. Did UVA win? NO, I don't think so. Of course I'm just talking football. I don't pretend to believe that we have a decent basketball team . You got me there.

well our football team sucks big time
so any win means big party at school these days
but for some reason i like VT even that uva and vt suppose to be rival schools
i have too many tech friends maybe that's why
the only college i really do not like is georgia tech
but even with our crappy football team we beat them this year
so i am happy

I've lived in Blacksburg my entire life, I go to tech. I plan to go to UVA for grad school, and I could certainly care less about a rivalry between the two schools..err well unless I don't get into grad school because of it.

It's a friendly rivalry in my case. Had I gone to Law or Medical School I'd have gone to UVA, but for Business/Architecture/Engineering/Vet Medicine Tech is the way to go.

Elik, UVA would be a lot better place if they, say, had ANY PARKING. Really, what's the deal there. Parking was terrible when I went down for the game (Tech won again BTW, in case you had forgotten ). I parked a mile away. Any that's not just a saying, I really did park A MILE AWAY. Good thing was I went further down that road (Jefferson Ave) and was on I66 in about 10 minutes. Sweet!

Yeah, **** off!!! :pissed

That was a great game up until that ****ing fumble. Talk about a game changing play. They had plenty of oppurtunities to come back and win that game since UVA was too stupid not to go for 2 after their last touchdown, but they just choked, not once, not twice, ****, I lost count. Maybe if Sennaca could suck some more balls, and the wide reciever could drop more passes and not try to get open, or run horrible routes, it would've been a good game. I can't believe with the way they play their previous 6 games, they resorted to that horse****. Cost them a good bit of money too. And I can't believe the defense didn't pound on Wosack for the **** he pulled when he got recruited.

That's ok though, they'll be a top ten team next year. And Mills will win 3 Heisman trophies (if he stays that long).

Can you tell me what the f' that 'hoos' thing is all about. Your mascot is the Cavaliers; is there something wrong with 'Cavs'?

LOL
do not sweat it man
sometimes u have good seasons sometimes bad
we lost to Wake Forrest first time in 25 years or something like that

Honestly I was thiking that PSU would kill us too and did not go to the game
but hey accidents happen
PSU is much better team, just had bad luck this day

as for the Hoos goes
first our mascot was a dog who used to live ongrounds, but the damn thing kept dying and they kept bringing new ones, one day they got sick of it and decided on cavalier
then u know how all colleges have these funny names, UVA - Wahoo or Hoos for shorts, VT hookies, and OSU -sooners and so on
so Hoos is just shorter name for Wahoo, which is also is a fish who can swallow water to get bigger in 5 times or so
so sometimes u can see UVA and little fish next to it
I know it is complicated but at least keeps freshmen busy
Also there is a tradition to dress up in uva for football games
since UVA was horrible several years back, even worse than now
someone made it a tradition to dress up for football games saying "We can not play football, but we can dress"
by all means the best tradition ever
seeing all these hotties on a spring warm day showing off their flesh
it becomes like a big party
and damn i miss UVA now

That dressing up thing is beautiful. There's nothing wrong with tight, short dress and shirts. Gives you something to look at between plays, and for the whole 2nd half in that last game's case.
So a Wahoo is a fish, and that is where is comes from. Hmm, thanks.
