possible rebuild???

Well my car is waaaaayyy over due for a valve adjustment, has not had one the 5 years ive owned it. The last time i checked with toyota it was going to run $600+ to do it and i know you can get a new head for a little more than that. Im planning on changing the timing chain, guides, tensioner, sprockets while im at it and the oil pump. Now the question is this. Would it be a good idea to change all the bearings and the piston rings since the head will be off? The car has 140k+ miles on it.

Why not do a full rebuild? New gaskets, new pumps, new rings. That's what I would do (because you're already taking it all apart).

oil pump was already mentioned lol but naturally you would change the gaskets as well once the head is removed.

I'd do a full rebuild at this point. I'd hate myself if I'd have to go back in there later when I'm already 3/4 of the way in.
