it'd have to be on a saturday preferably. or friday.

we could go to the track this time (which i've suggested every other meet we've had) since it's open till 6. but not many people wanna pay $45, and i can't either, so @#$% that.

what do you all think? NY people?

Well lets get suggestions! if BB McGhee wants to lead the caravan up the east coast, figure out what u want.

Its not january, so we can do the meet at the beach(not like the season really mattered).

Lets see if we can spring Jiggs and cheer her up. Get a look at the moderator's Matrix and see how close he is to crushing more valves

Spare not vacation/sick day, lets make this happen.

Aug 24th is bad for me, i'm heading to AC that day.

LI seems like the ideal place BUT there is a park in Queens which fits close to 200+ cars. Its an open space where bbq's concerts and many other events have been held. If we could get a permit it would be perfect as it is around the bend from the Jackie Robinson Parkway which leads to the Grand Central...Van Wyck..NY Thruway..NJ Turnpike etc..

This park is located right by Woodhaven Blvd. nyoneway would know what I'm talking about.

Definitely the place to plan the next meet. 3 guys have already seen it since I showed it to them about a month ago and they agreed it was more than ideal.

Also adjacent to the park and actually 300 feet or so through the woods are handball courts, basketball courts and across the street the park continues..this place is called Forest Park for those who are in NY. Its definitely a great spot and has enough space to host as many cars as we can get. Not to mention a good group picture without having to worry about Lamp posts acting as dividers and forcing us to result to panoramic picture modes.

You guys should consider it.

Yea the park near my house is great. Has a parking lot that's usually empty and would be a good place for a meet.

i have no clue about NY, but in NJ all the parks require you to have a permit only if you're having more than 25 people....

Guys I work at a tuning shop in NJ I'm like 10min from the GWB I will open the shop and we can chill here plenty of parking and some VERY serious cars.... we usually spin the dyno wheels to the tune of 400+ HP.... might be interesting for some of you to see these cars lemme know.. I'll help organize the event as well...... --------Andrew

I can arrange something...... I will need some notice ahead of time..... plan on power-runs only...have your car tuned if we do it.... we may be able to do some mild tuning... but to really tune a car we would only get 4-5 on the dyno..... I need like 6 cars to do it.

About Forest Park,

No permit required from what i can gather. Its basically an open space for the public to use at will.
