current lb/hp = 14.84
w/ blitz SC = 10.2
TwinTurbo supra = 11.9

so if you could get the traction you'd be faster than a twin turbo supra... as you can see its not about the power.. its about the power/weight

i would think low-mid 13s

any faster than that and your spending too much on the car since the SC is what? close to or about 6k? thats a lot of money.

now that i think of it. if the blitz sc boosted the celica to around 240-250 (safely) it would probably get the celica to mid-high 13s. maybe with drag radials, slicks, lsd, is when it could prob shoot for low-mid 13s. this being with average driver

I would say a tuned SC with Intake/Headers/DownPipe/Exhaust/S-AFC/LSD would run mid 13's. Low 13 with slick or even high 12's with stripped interior.

Otherwise just a SC with Intake/Exhaust will probably run high 13s.

Just look at the track times for guys with 50shop Nitros. All high 13's. That gives you a pretty good idea for the SC. The SC will probably get a better launch than Nitros tho.

the reason people are getting high 13's are because of the 190 foot pounds of torque at 3800 rpm.
people cant control tha on street tires so there basicly spinning down the track to a high 13 at 106-108.
slicks could be low 13's like one person on this board or high 12's pn a good night.
if you look at the dyno of the blitz supercharger its a lot more friendly and flows well.
the 50 shot is just instant.

Blitz SC is a waste of money it is not ready for the street yet. 33.6 HP for $7,000 is a huge waste. I guess holding out for a turbo kit would be best. What do you all think???

240 - 250 HP???? I dont think that is going to be safe only because when the SC came out it was putting 198 HP at the fly safley. So 240 is a huge jump. On the times I would think mid to high 13's. Oh and it is currently only adding 33-35 HP to clear the confusion

Remember that 198 was with 19" rims and with a J-Spec ECU tuned for 100 octane. The rims alone robbed probably 25 or more hp plus the ECU swap would add even more hp.

That is a stupid comment. If you added anymore power you would be slowing the car down from the massive wheel spin and not ever getting power down to the ground....... for 5 grand you get a reliable, good gaining supercharger that you don't have to worry about blowing your car up everyweek..... or you can get a 3000 dollar piece of **** and be in the shop every week
