| HOW TO CLEAN THE FILTER ON YOUR CAI: by Erik Olson aka "erok" |
| The pictures are of an AEM intake, but other brands should be similar. |
| 1) Park with your wheels turned all the way to the left as shown in figure one. |

| 2) Under the front left of the car, you'll find two screws holding the plastic wheel well liner to the front bumper. With a 10mm wrench, unscrew the two screws as shown in figure two. |

| 3) Next to the front left tow eye under the car, you'll see a plastic pop-in fastener that holds the wheel well liner to the adjacent plastic underbody panel. With a flathead screwdriver, pop out this fastener as shown in figure three. |

| 4) Figure 3A shows the three fasteners you've just removed. |

| 5) Pull the plastic wheel well liner down and away from the bumper to reveal the CAI filter. Be carefull not to pop out any other fasteners while you do this. |
| 6) Loosen the hose clamp holding the filter to the CAI pipe as shown in figure four. |

| 7) Remove the filter as shown in figure five. Twisting the filter may help it come on/off the CAI pipe. |

| 8) Clean the filter according to the manufacturer's recommendation or replace it. |

| 9) Reinstall the filter by following steps seven through one in reverse order. |
