Speed Limit Defencer

There is a mate of mine of who had a 2ZZ-GE with a Speed Limit Defencer. He swore that the device increased performance across the driving range. Does anyone have experience with this device?

Not needed for USDM. Would only be applicable for JDM. Does nothing for "performance". It just removes the JDM 180 km/h limit.

my car is a JDM. It really feels slow, cant figure out why. It takes off really slow but once it gets to 2000rpm its fine. I tightened the accelerator cable but it didn't help

jdm rocks, man. but yeh, all the difference is in a speed limit to 180 km/h in other it's just same ecu as usdm and I do not think that it's necessary to remove that limit
