Im pretty sure our stock size is 6x6, but with custom mounts aka cutting a piece of particle board, you can fit up to about a 9 ish

Not sure, but I just changed the speakers out of my 2004 GT-S. The rear speaker mounts were 6.5", the front component mounts are also 6.5" with a 1" tweeter.

A very good resource is Crutchfield. I purchased all 4 speakers brand new for my Celi from them a few months ago and it comes with the free mounts and wires so there is no modification that needs to be done. Just remove the stock plates by drilling the rivets out and install the new ones with all the included hardware, plug in the speaker with included harness, and screw in the speakers. Extremely painless, if I ever get another car, Crutchfield is the way to go for me.
