If anything me and sorens kit is keeping us from going lower.
If i had a tte lip and molly caps and a stock exhaust, id down grade to 17s and borderline tuck rim.

Just saying I'm just as low as nic0 and you guys but it doesn't look like it because I'm rocking a stock body. Which makes me look like I'm a mile high off the ground compared to you guys. Couldn't even have a lip over here since Washington roads are Sh*t I'd tear it off in less than 5 minutes

It's hard to get a hella flush set up with meaty tires.

if you are running a -10 offset in the rear it wont fit. i was using 215/40 with a -3 offset and had about ~1-2 mm of clearance from tire to fender when my fenders were rolled. if you want to run a -10, you'll need to pull your fenders to make it work with a 215/40 or maybe a 205/40 to be on the safe side (for clearance reasons, 205/40 on a 9 is a pretty good stretch).

as for cheating? im assuming you're referring to bernie and soren's kits since they sit lower than yours. i can see where you're coming from but they're wheel fitment is on point no doubt. 17" wheels were ideal for my trd set up since 18's would have been too big. i think 17" wheels work well for what you're going for too, just needs more stretch.

Lol I said I didn't clear the fender so the tires are holding up the car because they're stuck on the fender. If it took off the 25mm spacer and cleared the fender it would sit lower but I didn't have a 19mm thin wall socket to take the spacers off.

That picture doesn't show how low I am when I have wheels that clear. If I was that high I wouldn't have to worry about scraping at all i'd be like superman flying over everything. Looks like a damn monster truck that high up.

And I'm not using "cheater" in a derogatory way, I'm just saying if we parked next to each other everyone will think the cars with lips/kits will be lower than my stock body. Think you guys are taking it the wrong way because I love nic0's, Bernie's, and s0ren's setups

So lookin at the chart.. For the less aggressive style, I'm assuming is the flush (not sunken), little to no poke and sitting on close to natural camber?

So for an 8" wide rim, my target ET would be around +28 front & rear?

19x8 +48 rims w/ 20mm spacers = +28 ET = Flush (front & rear) but not HELLAflush?

I read .................................. and all I saw where excuses and talk about cheating. Body kits/lip kits dont make your wheel gap look different, when your low your low. And in the pics you posted, your not as low as some other ppl.

its cool since that was my old setup. i got a new exhaust and had it mounted higher so it wouldnt scrape but my frame sits about 2" from the ground too. i guess if you consider bodykits i have a 2 finger gap from the ground.. =p not trying to brag, but stiffer springs do help

Yeah, but I'm not gonna argue with you cuz your ride looks sexy as hell. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm thinking its the kit, mainly the side skirts, that give it that illusion that the front is lower than the back even though it's actually pretty level from what I see under the car.

Maybe it's the staggered setup... Dunno.

All I know is that gts_02 needs spacers pronto if he want to be on your payroll lol.

If you don't like it yourself, then why do it? I understand if you like it... but I've never really heard of anyone doing something to their car that they don't wanna do lol. Just raise the back up like a tiny bit more... maybe like 1/2" or so. Not only will it look a bit better, it might even be easier to drive

Just a though...

I would like to vindicate my claim about being as low as nic0 due to bad information. I previously thought the picture of underneath nic0's car was his current setup because he posted that picture over in Suspension & Brake Tuning not too long ago, and I jumped to conclusions. I apologize for not following nic0 religiously as some people do, but I have nothing but respect for guys like nic0, Bernie and s0ren. It was the only picture I saw of nic0's setup from the underside and based everything off of that since everyone else has kits and lips compared to my stock body. Which is why I made that remark about you guys being cheaters.

Now I realize that they're about an inch or so lower than me which is insane. I already cry every speed bump/dip in the road I go over I don't think I could daily mine any lower.
