Rebuilding C-One coilovers

Hello everybody, it's been awhile since I've posted anything here, but I could definitely use some guidance with this one. When I lived in Florida, I did a direct swap with a friend of mine who's Celica was totaled, on his vehicle, I put in my KYB shocks and struts, and from his vehicle, I took his C-One coilovers, it is a gold casing with red springs and has dual springs, the main springs for the suspension/ride height, and smaller springs to keep the ride height adjuster in place. At present, now I live in Pennsylvania, and many many potholes have taken their toll on suspension, and at present the driver front coilover is completely blown. I have done some research but I haven't found a solid answer to my question, is it possible to rebuild them? Is it possible to use a compatible shock insert for the unit? I would like to see if I can rebuild them as I would hate to get rid of such a gem.
