Pillowball mounts on Tein Street Basis Z

Hello all, I have a very curious question about usage of front pillow ball mounts. Recently, I have purchased a brand new set of Tein Street Basis Z coilovers for my 2001 Toyota Celica GTS, but this particular kit did not come with front pillow ball mounts. In the instructions, it states that the usage of OEM components is required. I replaced my C-One coilovers with Tein coilovers & reused the front C-One pillowball mounts since I don't have access to the OEM strut tower mounts. I did a quick test run and all feels okay, but I could definitely use some input on this as I really don't want to risk anybody's safety doing so.
