I did some search and looks like everyone else who bought raceland coilovers liked them. I heard good customer service as well.

Tman did they say they were going to look into making them?

im not buying to say they are better than tein, bc racing, ksport, megan.

im buying to lower my car, dont feel like dropping so much money on suspension, and because they would be only about a hundred dollars more than namebrand lowering springs.

They were interested in the step by step, kept asking for updates on my progress and such, so i think maybe if we did like a group buy pre-order on a version with different holes, they would make em. If you look on theit FB page they seem to do fairly recent prototypes, they just came out with rsx and tiburon () coils, so im sure if they saw enough interest they would make a simple change.

Respect the fact that the kid dropped money on trying something different for EVERYONE'S benefit.

Don't come in here like some arrogant prick, when you paid for a set of budget coilovers yourself.

Props to you Tman, for thinking out of the fvcking box.

If they keep the tc spring rates and are able to make the celica bolt spacing that would be wonderful. Thou i would still have to mod the celica bolt holes I would certainly consider a set

I just talked to raceland. They said they might be able to make coilovers for our cars if there were enough interested buyers. With that said maybe we can start a list to see if who all is interested, that way maybe we can motivate them?

hey i have been keeping up with this thread soo glad i did now i dont have to drop all that money on coils but something else . . .faaaaaantastic
and what tmangt did with the hole and boring it out was no shocker to me i work at a shop and do a majority of the alignments and all the time the program we use will explain how there is no camber adjustment and to use a bore bit to lengthen the hole . . .if any ones worried about the bolt coming loose just buy some locktite . . .problem solved i plan on ordering a pair of these very soon and i might be able to do a good write up for it. . .just depends how long i have after work

Ok, i just got an email back. Here it is
Jordan,

Thank you for your interest. At the moment we do not have plans to develop a coilover kit for the 7th Generation Celica but we do take feedback seriously. With that said, I will note your interest for future consideration. Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter for updates on if we decide to go ahead with R&D on the kit.

If you should have any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,

I'm pretty sure most of us are gonna get this same email, but let us know if you get something different. There's still hope!

I wouldn't be too discouraged. Pretty much every company has a form letter they send in response to requests. I doubt they are getting annoyed. hearing from customers and interested parties helps them make more informed decisions about what's there best options for R&D. The more emails they get the more likely they are to make a kit for us.

If they are willing to make one for the Tiburon () they outta make one for the celica. you see more of celicas than tiburons on the road, and as many girl's that drive celcia's twice as many more drive tiburon's rofl

^true. I out of all the tiburons i see at the college campus 95% of them are chicks. The thing is they still make tiburons I believe. They may more likely make it for a car still in production rather than a car that has been out of produciton for the past 7 years with 5 people spamming them with emails.

Fronts have maybe 1 thread left, rears have .5" to go.

You will have negative camber..

They have settled a little, I've read that over time they get lower and stiffer

That's not too bad for negative camber, I'm at -3.5 in the front right now.

Positive: Incredibly great handling, can be adjusted very stiff for track use, not too bumpy, Can easily take the twisties at 75+, freakin low, stiff, very responsive, very direct feeling, no body roll at all, goes exactly where you put it, too much to list

Meh: Rear shocks are kinda soft. Like I said before, this is supposed to reduce with some time. This does not seem to affect the handling though, as the rear springs are quite stiff. Bumps. I have to drive in the city almost everyday with some God awefull road conditions, so it can get bumpy sometimes

Overall: positives>meh's. 5/5
