Theres this kid @ my school that has a 95 TSI 5-spd stock(just a cone filter). He is always racking on my celi saying that racing me would be a waste of gas. but says he would race me anytime and humiliate me(if that makes sense LMAO) He's not the brightest... I really want to race him but I wanted to get your opinions first. I dont want to get walked and then have to hear it for the rest of the year. You guys think I could beat him?

when i first got my car and it was stock. I raced a 98 eagle talon with exhaust and intake at a stoplight to 90mph I won by 3/4 car length. When we stopped after, he told me that every time he shifted I gained 1/4 car. As long as his car is stock or close to it you should win unless you suck at driving.

if u race rolling u will put a hurting on him. if u race off the line he might get u or u might be playing catchup. they have 200hp but weight about 3300 lbs. they can move modded tho

My friend was killing many cars in his stock 94 Tsi includings celica Gts.
Now his in the middle of the car build up, those cars work well with mods too.But good race with the kill

Nvm... once they up the boost ur dead..

Anyway I raced once for sh!ts & giggles, actually he was taunting me and I expected him to pull a lot harder than he did..might have a chance with lift but probably not by much..

most importantly.... bigger turbo!!! also the new evos have mivec. ive heard good things about mivec. the stock 4g63 turbos of the 90's were rather weak. they now run 20g's from factory which is pretty facking big.

Have the race from a roll, right before lift engagement.. you should have a chance pnce you hit 3rd gear from what I've read it seems to pull the hardest on gt-s

not all tsi's are awd either. i raced a 98 gs-t from a roll and put about 3 cars on him by the time we left off around 110ish...both cars were stock

they have two versions just like the fwd gst and awd gsx. there are fwd tsi and awd tsi


most tsi u see are awd. but there ARE front wheel drive turbo tsi's

If its the fwd drive it will be a driver race, but if its the awd he will have to play catchup and you better be in top of your game, i mean hitting lift every shift

I ran a stock tsi on the freeway in my matrix xr automatic. I had a pretty decent mods list to include the turd s/c and a tune. He barley pulled on me. I know from experience that at freeway speeds a gts would've walked me pretty hard. So if he is stock and you can shift, you should win. Good luck, and get a video of it.

well the 1995 Eagle Talon is a AWD Turbo...car make 210HP with a weight of near 3,495

The cars pull harder than u think...i personally think it will be close...but i give it to the talon..now i hate DSM and i own 1...it also depends if this kid can drive or not
