Well....I have OIL PROBLEMS! I have 135,000 miles on my car...never abused it...always took care of it, do all my own oil changes and maintenance. Always used synthetic Mobil 1 -since day one. My car uses like 1 quart of oil in less than 1000 miles or very close to 1000 (once it used that much in like 800 miles)...IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? I will take it up with whomever I need to to get this fixed. It scares me, because if I don't check it all the time I could run out! I have no smoke whatsoever coming from my car at any time. No leaks, just a black tailpipe on the insides from running a tad rich. My car still gets over 32 miles per gallon! I drive it mainly on the highway to and from work. What to do?
