Im doing a gt to gts swap and the computer i got from the company in california was rusted and broken and ****. I need a new computer. I have a 2000 celica, engines the same year. I heard that toyota put rpm limits on all 2003+ models because people were blowing engines and collecting off warrenty. I want to know if this is true cause i heard they took it form like 8200-8400 or something to 7600. If anyone can find a 2000-2001 computer for mt gts. please let me know!!

2002's have the rev limiter at 7800. 2003's are at 8350 i believe.
Yes 8350 seems about right. I drive an 03 GTS and I've hit the rev limiter a few times. It kicks it off somewhere between 8300-8400RPM, but couldn't tell you exactly...
