I went to the subaru dealer yesteday to look at some STi's with my dad. I sat in one and looked at the Ti shift knob and then started feeling though the gears. holy god the throw is short. anybody drivin one of the 05's??? i dont know if the 04's were the same but holy crap you move the shifter like 1.5in and its in the next gear. maybe its just because im used to my 240 but damn that thing is really short.

LOL yeah guys, I wished I had an STi =) i

Anyways he got an 05 and its really really short, but he got one of the very first 05's so he didn't get the optional short shift kit which makes it rediculously short.

i test drove a wrx this weekend and yes the throws are short.

I testdrove an 05 Legacy 2.5GT with the STi short throw shifter about 2 weeks ago. It was the shortest shifter I've seen to date.

my 05 LGT has the sti ss, and the throws are pretty short, but no where near as short as the S2000.
