Chevrolet announced earlier this year that it would cancel the Cobalt SS Supercharged for the 2008 model year, but new information reveals that Chevy is working on a turbocharged version of the Cobalt SS. For 2008, it appears as though General Motors will equip the Cobalt SS with the same 260 horsepower 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in the Saturn Sky Red Line, Pontiac Solstice GXP and HHR SS.
