2010 Saab 9-5
These are the first images that I can confirm are original Saab stock. They look more like CGI's than actual photos of real cars to me, but they're authentic.

The car should be available with a mix of four and six cylinder engines (petrol/Bio Power) and a four cylinder diesel. The six cylinder diesel that was planned for the car was canceled by GM.

I'm digging the wagon more so than the sedan.

this car is completely irrelevant - nobody buys 9-5s anymore.

They used to have a power advantage compared to the competition

now the 9-3 Aero costs more than the top of the line 9-5

Saab has its branding all screwed up and needs to modernize badly.

at the price ranges Saab's sell at, I'd much rather take one of the many other alternatives.

Update!

PRESS RELEASE said:
Sleek, sophisticated and unmistakably Saab, the all-new 9-5 saloon signals the dawn of a new era for the Saab brand. With progressive, confident styling and advanced technology, Saab’s distinctive new flagship will bring a fresh, alternative choice to the premium saloon segment when it goes on sale in 2010.

The clean, sculpted shape embraces the purity of Scandinavian design, and its dramatic wraparound window graphic echoes Saab’s aviation heritage. With styling inspired by the award-winning Aero X concept car and a muscular, low-slung stance, the new 9-5 heralds the introduction of a bold and expressive design language.

The array of high-tech features on offer includes: an aircraft-inspired head-up information display (HUD); adaptive headlights (Bi-Xenon Smart Beam); adaptive cruise control; Saab DriveSense adaptive chassis with real-time damping control; keyless entry and starting; dual-zone climate control; dynamic parking assistance, and Saab XWD with eLSD: the industry-leading all-wheel-drive system.

The all-turbo powertrain line-up is the broadest ever offered by Saab, carrying forward Saab’s rightsizing engine strategy focusing on responsible performance through the development of highly efficient four cylinder turbo engines. There is a choice of three fuels – petrol, diesel and E85 bioethanol – and with diesel power, the new 9-5 offers CO2 emissions as low as 139 g/km.

“This car is the start of a new era for our brand,” says Jan-

The pole crash was impressive. That's one safe car.

Saab 9-5 2.8T XWD Aero
Should I buy one?
This range-topping version offers the best Saab can currently offer and features some highly impressive technology. It is fast, smooth, refined and has an impressively sophisticated edge. But it’s bigger than rivals and less aggressively sporting than other high performance sports saloons, a mix that will split opinion.

Later this year Saab will launch an intriguing 188bhp twin-turbo-diesel 9-5 (the

Saab 9-5 by Hirsch in Denmark
Danes who can scrimp together enough to buy a new car (the taxes are killers) have an extra option to choose from – http://www.hirsch-performance.ch/

For those who don’t want to wait…..

The 220hp 4-cyl gasoline engine moves up to 260hp with Hirsch tuning.

The 2.0 TiD engine moves from 160hp to 190hp.

The 2.8T V6 moves up from 300hp to 335hp

Nice!

My friend has the older Aero version of this car (2006?) and the thing is fun to drive. Smooth shifting with great power, hope they kept it the same.
