The 2014 RAM 3500 Laramie tested here is the Crew Cab DRW model with super powerful 6.7 liter 6-cylinder Turbodiesel engine. This powerplant produces 370 horsepower and 800 lb-ft. of torque. There is a 6-speed automatic transmission on hand for efficiency. The RAM 3500 Turbodiesel is rated to tow a max of 22,550 lbs.

A best 0-60 MPH run of 8.3 seconds occurred with the four-wheel drive switched off and the traction control switched off. There was also 1000 lbs. of hay in the bed of the truck.
