Anyone have a good picture of the alternator and the bolts holding it in place? I want to get it out, but it's not that simple in the Spyder. Pretty much a blind install. When you open the engine bay you're looking at the exhaust manifold and not intake manifold.

Any suggestions on how to get the belt off also? I know I could prop something to push the lever down and get some slack, but are there any better ideas?

Thanks...

Hey Chris,

The altenator's in the same place with the 2zz as the 1zz. Infact I'm still using my 1zz alt since they appear to be identical. The tension can be released by putting a socket on the arm and pushing forward with a big breaker bar. I'm not sure if you can wiggle it out with the engine in the car since it's really tight up against the firewall. There are two bolts holding it on IIRC, one at the very top and another directly at the bottom. Both have 14mm heads going off of memory. Hope this helps...
