so id like to upgrade the stock cd player in the celica, what brand should i go with? i know absolutely nothing about car stereos and i was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction,

if possible the only thing im really looking for is a cd player thats ipod ready. . .i was looking into some alpine ones, but i was wondering if there was something you would recommend???

any input would be especially appreciated!!

pioneer has some good low priced ipod ready ones, in the $200-300 range

I would probably look in Alpine and Pioneer myself. Just look for one with the features you want in your price range.
