Round 1 of the SE Div series is coming up next weekend and there is a new Evolution registered in DS.

Should I start my plans to protest now? I suspect the actual class has been determined by now, but who knows. Regardless, isn't it super stock if it hasn't been classed otherwise (I don't have my rule book handy).

I have this sneaking suspicion that it won't be the autocross car some think it will be.

I checked the 03 rulebook, and the fastracks thru Apr 03 and it is not classed yet. He probably thinks that the classification of the 4WD Talon in DS is equivilent. He prolly won't be very happy to have to run in SS tho!

There was one running in San Diego Tour, but I don't see it listed in the results. It was running in SS.

I read on Honda-Tech that the Evo at San Diego was classed in DSP under the "under 3.0 liter turbo NOC" classification.

We thought they were in STS because they had the STS number sheet, but the T was blocked out.

Weird... it looked like the driver was listed under DSP as driving an RX-7... An Integra driver protested it being in DSP and it got thrown out, from what i read. Weird hearing two different stories from two people on site! Neither would really be "wrong".
