Hey all,
those of you who live in Montgomery County, if you did the belt tensioner repair, could you tell me which dealership you'll went to?
I went to Darcars toyota in silver spring, and the service guy said that the drive belt is a wear and tear item, and it wouldn't be covered under warranty...which is BS.....I only have 26,xxx miles
and also whats the difference between a TSB and a recall?

a TSB is something that the manufacturer is not required to release to the general public, a recall is mandatory. Tell DARCARS to go suck an egg and speak with the Service manager and tell him your tensioner is making a noise and it's replaceable under this TSB http://www.radphys.com/TSB_Belt_Tensioner.pdf print it out and show it to them

yep, its only covered under warranty.......unless somehow your dealer likes you......and we know how often that happens.....
