i bought black housing headlights and put hids n i couldnt see anything with them does any1 have the halo blackhousing headlights with hids and do u see very far with them.

most of these aftermarket headlights have horrible projectors. they are not as good as stock even with HIDs.
i have some stock projectors for sale, if your interested. maybe you could swap out those projectors for my toyota ones.

Just sell them and paint your oem inserts black, then you get oem output with aftermarket look.

I actually owned 1 of each set... OEM for 2000 GT, Black and dual halos...
I must agree that the OEM look best. The black set projection was not very wide and didn't cover enough area compared to stock. Dual halos... too much adjustment needed to get it to project right... so I got lazy and sold them so I can move onto the next project

i bought a set of the black halo headlights and find them great i adjusted them myself to the right sepcs and i dont even want hids anymore i think they look gammy imo just don like the look of them on a celica

take apart the headlight in the oven.
