I have a question about these i know that the slotted sport rotors have a coating on it to prevent rust but do the Brembo OE replacement flat surface rotors have that same coating? my rotors have some ugly ass rust on it and i would like to replace em but don't really wanna dish out 300 bucks right now for the slotted, plus i already have a set of stock brake pads that would just get pulverized by the slotted. oh yeah and would the brembo oe replacements be better that the stock rotors?

You could just get the rotors resurfaced.


But I have never seen a daily driver's car's rotors rust.

i have the oe replacements and they rusted right away...im gonna have to clean it and paint it with high temp paint when i have time

I have the slotted ones LOL and they have the coating on them. However, I cannot tell you how long this coating remains resistant to rust because I have yet to put them on.
