Wanna upgrade my headlight bulbs but there's so many to choose. Sylvanias silverstar for $50 or there are all kinds for anywhere between $25 and $39. Does anyone have a brand they reccomend to give my lights the whiteish/blue look?

dont bother with those crappy bulbes they will last you have a year at best before they burn out. your best bet is you stock halogens or HIDS both are much more cost effective than xenon bulbs
I have the Silverstars Low. I like them, not fake looking bright, but enough so that you can see better.

My friend has Silverstars, and the only difference I could see was the color of the beam. Still the same brightness as stock. Sylvania even listed the specs of the Silverstars, and they're no brighter than their normal bulbs.
I have xenons in mine and they've been running great for over a year between my current and past car. Much MUCH brighter and easier to see than regular bulbs.

CeliKill180, maybe u just had a bad experience eh?
To be honest, I replaced my fogs with Piaa ion yellow and I couldn't be happier.
I also replaced my same stock H7 lights the same amount of time my "other bulbs" blew. 3 or 4 times.
Those stock bulbs are a mother and it's funny because I don't even have the same two H7 bulbs. They are of the same kelvin, look the same from the outside, but that's it.
I realized this fact after I blew several blue bulbs and had to do night time fixes with the stock bulbs.
I abused those bulbs, hitting them on everything many times. I even broke off the silver tip on one of them.
They still work like a dream and even better with the yellow fogs.
Now I have Piaa 4150 H7's and I took the time to examine everything and seal up my lights.
That's how I know about my stock bulbs.
I hope I don't have to put the stock bulbs back in, but maybe it wouldn't be for the worse and I should take pics of those.

what brand do u have, most of us will agree that "xenon " bulbs suck
xenon bulbs do suck.. a real HID kit is what you want to get and you wont have to worry about the bulbs burning out
CeliKill180, whats in your car in that pic?
Stock:
"Xenon/H.I.D./etc" = :thumbdown

HID = :thumbup: :thumbup:

Same here, till my PIAAs burned out after 6 months. I'm just gonna get yellow capsules for my stock fog bulbs, since they do the same thing the PIAA bulbs do (filter the light), but won't burn out. :p:

All the money you wasted on "HID style" bulbs, you could have had a real HID system.

On the subjest of PIAA Ion Crystal foglight bulbs, the ones in my foglights lasted three years.
think the brand was something like streeglowz or streetlegalz or something like that...

don't remember specifically, how much was your HID kit after install, Celikill180? and was the install something you did yourself? difficult? (realize it's alot of questions but if i'm going to concider spending the cash for it then i might as well know a little more about it)
any brand that ends with a Z is a pos

the kit cot $320 and you install it yourself
You need the kit? I thought they just replaced your old stock bulbs.
do a search, real hid systems arent just bulbs
thanks CeliKill, i take it those are what you have in yours... same as the link at the top of the page? HID Conversion kit?

looks like those on that link cost like 550 for the 6000k's and you need about 3 of them to go across the highs, lows, and fogs... :/
i have a mc colloch kit that cost 320 and they come with 2 ballasts and ignitors and the 2 HID capusles which is all you need, i dont know where u got the the #3 from
