Actually 2000-3000 sounds pretty good for a new transmission. They are defintiely on my list of items to get.

It's not a new transmission, it's just the gears.

This car only has a problem with 2nd gear. If we can fix that shift then the rest
shouldnt even be touched. And, you'll gain that crucial time (1 sec.)on the way to
60mph. If its possible to get the one, then that would be a worth while buy.

I don't think this would work well at all for Drag or street. It's more of an autocross setup.
