man dis is dumb but i thought i share this with u guys. yesterday, after lunch..i was coming back to work.. i was at a complete stop at the gate (i work on base)to get access.. and all of sudden, BOOOOOOOM.. this freakin car hitzzzzz meeh from behind.. i mean.. you were only suppose to be driving like 5 mph in the zone... and i think he hit meeh at the rate of at least a 15mph.. i got shook.. and got out of my car..i started to cuss and shiet.. this guy said "come on man, your car only got couple of scratches, lets just call it quits and go our ways".. i was like "what".. i was flamin'.. i mean, he could have said are you okay? instead..he was tryin to get out of it... i cussed at him and told his punk a$$ to pull over.. i told him... yeah u can go... i got ur plate number and i ma tell the cops u did hit and run.. he decided to stick around after all... punk @$$.. i was really gonna let him go but then the his attitude juss did not cut it.. this guy wazz a real jerk.. when cops came.. he was crying and still tryin to lie and everything.. thank god i had a witness.. anyway.. i took my car to a shop thinking i might get $200 out of this damage.. $hit.. i was quoted $1200 twice.. i am gonna try to scam this mofo up da @$$.. my neck, my back, dang.. i am gonna contact my personal auto injury attorney.. i ma hook my car after i make some money off this punk.. heheh. hey thanks for hearin..

I just got sideswipped on Tuesday. I need a new door and the front and rear passenger side fenders are all screwed up and I only got quoted $1100 by 2 different places and my insurance company. I'll find out today what the other guy's insurance will do for me.

Why should we cool down? It is actions like the ones he is contemplating that effect all of us in insurance rates. Don't know about you but I really don't want to subsidize someone elses mods.

the same damn thing happened to me the other day. I was sitting in traffic and i got rear ended. My back is still hurting right now and the car is just sitting in the garage with the bumper hanging off... I went to the doctors and they told me that i have whiplash in my lower back. How does all of this stuff work? does the insurance company pay for my physical therapy? This is all new to me.

Welcome to the club..

In April..after driving 500+ miles...as soon as I get situated in my hotel, I got rear-ended by some lady in a Jeep Cherokee.

Over 6,000 dollars worth of damage..and my spine is ALL screwed up.

I've had nothing but back pain ever since.

BUT..it's one thing to get tapped on the azz a bit..and get your car fixed. That's cool.

But to try and sue someone for injuries is pretty bad, and you better watch yourself..the judge will see right through you, as will your attorney.

But..to be honest...go get yourself checked out by a chiropractor...it's the best thing you can do. Fix the problems before they get any worse..trust me.

His insurance will at least pay that out with no questions asked. Look into it...and make sure you have YOUR insurance company do most of the talking, too. That's what you pay them for.

Personally, I wish the lady never hit me in the first place.

My back hurts.

You should definitely get the money for the car damage if its over $1000, i would not let that go, but if you do experience pains in your back or anywhere else, go have that checked out and if there is something wrong, the guys insurance will definitely pay for the bills but do NOT scam the guy for injuries you do NOT have. That is just wrong and you will definitely get caught if not now then later.. Goodluck.
