Has anyone on here taken the Cat out of there GT? Does it help much and is it much louder.

not worth while. you'll end up running rich and robbing power. unless you have some sort of way to manage your a/f

my car doesn't have a CAT, and there is the occasional backfire. That means my car is running rich right? This may have no relation, but with my CAI, p&p head and header, it should be running lean right? so that does mean it's good? as in safety wise? I mean, does the increased air flow counter the lack of a CAT?
