Yeah, so I was going to pick up my kitten, Zorro, from being neutered and I had to be there by 2:30. I left early 'cause it was a little ways away and I was going to drop off a prescription that I needed at Walgreens. So I was in the right lane of a two-lane, one-way road and some old guy in a purple Scion (not the box thing, something else) does a turn-around and doesn't stay in his lane and hits me. I was so f*cking pissed.

I tried to avoid it, but he comes WAY into my lane and hits me. The guy asks me "Why were you going so fast??" when i was going no more than 10 miles over the speed limit, if that. Anyways, even if I were speeding, it has nothing to do with the fact that he can't stay in his lane and ended up hitting me.

Basically the damage is all of the paint gone from a 5-6 inch area above the front left tire, pretty bad scrapes to the paint from front bumper to back of driver side door, a few dents, and the driver side door won't open. So I have to crawl over from the passenger seat which is soo much fun. I'm going to see if the repair place can fix the door while I'm there because it's a pain to crawl in and out. Anyways, I'm going to get an estimate tomorrow and then I'm going to call the old geezer and tell him that I expect him to pay for every last thing, including the rental car for when my car is getting fixed. He said he has a $1,000 dollar deductible and he doesn't want to involve insurance.

Funny (and ****ty) thing is that if I didn't want to fill that damn prescription (which I ended up not filling anyways) all this never would've happened because I would've gone a different way to pick up my cat. Weird how things work out... Either way, it freaking sucks.

yeah and about a month ago I (well a friend) spun a bearing, I've still got bent valves but haven't had time to fix it.

its the curse of the celica man. you've never heard of it. lol. at one point, i got into an accident and they just kept coming. for some reason, our celicas are just magnets to danger. i hate it. lol. im just hoping nothing else will happen from now on. hope you get that fixed!

i know what you mean about going a different way. i was on my way from a delivery and instead of taking the freeway, i decided to exit and take the local roads. BIG mistake. sucked for me because my dad TOLD me to take the high way. but hey, i got my car paid for. go get that guy to pay for yours! lol

ive had my car for 6 mths and have been in 2 accident (both not my fault). Good news is I got a free K&N pod filter to replace my sucky ebay one. Bad news is, i lost my front lip in the 2nd accident. Good news, they reimbursed me $360 and put a tock one on. Bad news , the car looks gay now.

I'm also in the accident boat. I slid into the back of a truck about 2 weeks ago because my tires lost grip when it just started sprinkling out.

I can admit to it too. A sign on the side of the road blocked my view of the road at night. Pulled out onto a 5-lane highway and an SUV rammed the drivers side going 40 mph. These Celicas can really take a beating!

update: the guy called me last night and asked me to mail a copy of the estimate to a new address so i'm doing that today. also, the guy said he is GOING BLIND in one eye. i don't really know if there is a law about people who are going blind and driving but if i were going blind, i probably wouldn't drive. also, i honestly do not know how fast i was going. i was probably not going the exact speed limit but i know i wasn't going over 50. anyways, in my opinion, it has nothing to do with the fact that the guy hit me. and also, there were no witnesses so yeah.
