Flash Light (optional)</P><P align="left"><STRONG><FONT size="4">Parts Supplied<BR></FONT> </STRONG>1. Carbon Fiber Hatch Handle<BR>2. 9 Washers<BR>3. Plastic Edge Molding</P><P align="left"><FONT size="4"><STRONG>Instructions</STRONG><BR></FONT></P><P align="left"><STRONG>1.</STRONG> Open the trunk and locate the interior handle and remove the philips screw. Once the screw is removed, remove the handle itself.</P><P align="center"><BR><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC01028.JPG - 163198 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC01028.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>2.</STRONG> Remove the interior plastic covering the hatch. Pull on the corner of the cover as shown in the picture below to remove plastic cover.</P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC01030.JPG - 135000 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC01030.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>3.</STRONG> Locate the all of the 10mm nuts that are securing the stock handle (total of 5). Location is marked by red arrows.</P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00983.JPG - 40992 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00983.JPG" width=400 border=0><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00984.JPG - 44301 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00984.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>4.</STRONG> One all the nuts have been removed slowly remove the stock hatch handle by slowly pulling out from the side marked below w/ a red arrow. </P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00982.JPG - 34757 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00982.JPG" width=400 border=0><BR></P><P align="left"><STRONG>5.</STRONG> Remove the bolts off of the stock hatch handle by slowly tapping them out of the holder. 3 of them are silver and 2 are gold.</P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00986.JPG - 149829 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00986.JPG" width=400 border=0><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00987.JPG - 155365 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00987.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>6.</STRONG> Use the 3 washers on each of the two gold bolts and 3 on one of the silver bolts. </P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00988.JPG - 144772 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00988.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>7. </STRONG>Use the 2 gold bolts to secure the latch and one side of the key chamber.</P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00989.JPG - 38215 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC00989.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>8. </STRONG>Use electrical tape to cover the top of the license plate lamp. Sorry for having to switch from the yellow Celi to the blue. </P><P align="center"><IMG height=300 alt="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC01017.JPG - 144247 Bytes" src="http://www.newcelica.org/other/installs/hatchhandle/DSC01017.JPG" width=400 border=0></P><P align="left"><STRONG>9.</STRONG> Line up the new Carbon Fiber Hatch Handle. Make sure that the plastic edge molding and is allowing the piece to be flush with the trunk. Use the hex screws provided to secure the CF Hatch Handle. Hand tighten first then use the 5/32" hex key to tighten the screws.
