Today while I was at lunch my CEL came on. My car runs good but the light is driving me crazy. I figured I would run by autozone and have them tell me what the code is so I can get this crap fixed. When I bought my car it had a SRI and I don't think it's installed correctly because it's missing the tube that goes over the intake. It also has a plug thing on the intake manifold that is leaking air. You can hear air hissing from the plug and it's louder than the sucking sound from my SRI. Could this be my problem?

yes ^ get the light scanned.

otherwise, re-install the intake to make sure everything is on tight and you can buy a universal hose from autozone as well for the TB or for the intake (whichever end is missing the hose). might as well clean the MAF sensor while you're at it. after everything, reset the ecu - disconnect battery for a minute or so.

edit -- you can also get that plug over at autozone that goes onto the throttle body. forget the size, but if you search you'll find it unless someone chimes in with more knowledge. :gap:

sounds like the nipple plug.... it could also be the sri, but you said that it just barely went on, so i think the hole in your nipple has just gotten too big.
